Dr Ghuran is one of the most excellent consultants I have ever seen and, unfortunately for me, I have seen many different consultants for multiple health conditions over recent years. Dr Ghuran immediately put me at ease during my first consultation with his highly knowledgeable and compassionate approach. He rapidly arranged a series of tests to investigate my symptoms with great communication and very detailed results, which have already diagnosed an associated condition that all other professionals have missed for many years. I am very grateful to be under Dr Ghuran's thorough but also friendly care which is already making a big difference to my life.

I saw Dr Ghuran as a referral for some cardiac analysis and tests and am really pleased with his thoroughness and knowledge. His recommendations were sound and detailed and he was a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend him.

I accompanied my Mother to a consultation at One Hatfield with Dr Ghuran. Her purpose was to obtain as much information as possible after a diagnosis of aortic stenosis. I can not praise Dr Ghuran enough for his care and attention. He had reviewed the details from the hospital. He then made his own examinations and took a full medical history. Any questions we had were thoroughly answered and reassurance given that Mum should not worry because she would be monitored and there were procedures if the condition worsened. Most of all he reassured us that life could and indeed should continue as normal. As soon as we left Mum said how much she liked and appreciated Dr Ghuran and felt a weight lifted from her mind. A great decision

I first met Dr Ghuran a week ago in the Lister cardiac unit and immediately felt both confident in him and also at ease. I should first say that he demonstrated exceptional dedication in facilitating my transfer from another hospital, so that I would not have to wait any longer for a much needed angioplasty. Dr Ghuran clearly explained the procedure, the outcome and next steps and I'm so grateful for his (and his teams) skill and care - without his intervention I dread to think what might have happened to me. Dr Ghuran, I will be forever grateful and feel blessed that our paths have crossed, even if the circumstances were not those I would have chosen! :) In summary a superb and compassionate doctor that I couldn't recommend more highly.

Dr Azad Ghuran In 2021, at the age of 69, I developed atrial tachycardia. Up until then, I had always been fit for my age, to the extent that I still snowboarded. I was extremely lucky to have been referred to Dr Ghuran. Because of a long-term illness when I was a child, I suffer a near-pathological fear of doctors and hospitals. Dr Ghuran could not have been kinder, more reassuring and understanding, whilst at the same time being extraordinarily forensic and detailed in the manner in which he set about diagnosing the problem. In the interval between diagnosis and my procedure, Dr Ghuran didn’t just go the extra mile, he went the extra marathon. Nothing was too much bother, and he went above and beyond to monitor my health and to keep reassuring me that I would soon be back to normal.. The cardioversion procedure was a total success, and I was soon able to return to exercise and achieve a good level of fitness. I was back to snowboarding in February 2022, and again in 2023 at the age of 71, having great fun off-piste in deep powder. Without Dr Gurhan I would not have been able to continue my life with my wonderful wife, travelling together and continuing to make memories. I literally owe this man my life. Yours gratefully, Bernie Westacott
